Use the right sized postal box

If you’ve sold an item on an auction website in the past, you’ll already be aware that you need to make sure it’s correctly packaged. Use a container that’s overly small and it can come undone, while one that’s too big will mean the contents may be rattling around while in transit.
You can buy a cardboard postal box in many shapes and sizes, and they only cost a few pennies. You should never skimp on this vital part of the transaction, because if you lose the item in the post it can cost you money.

Average house prices are a useful financial indicator

It’s always difficult to ascertain the wealth of a nation or how affluent an area is without looking at a few key factors. You might consider the GDP, or the retail sales index, but it’s also worth looking at the average house prices across a region (or even country) over time.

This will give you a good idea of what property is worth in real time, and you might be able to compare previous measurements to see whether or not things have gone up or down. It’s all very useful when trying to pin down the numbers on where money is moving, and how it’s behaving, as well as how successful a particular area or country has been.

Compare 0% credit cards – getting the best deal

I’m thinking of getting a new computer, so I’m currently trying to compare 0% credit cards online to see where I can get the best deal. I don’t have a credit card at the moment, but it’s been pretty easy to find good deals thank to online credit card comparison sites.

The plan is to buy the new machine on the credit card so I get the statutory guarantee from the credit card company on the purchase. Then I’ll pay off the cost of the computer over the 0% interest period, which should mean that I get a really good deal. Then once it’s paid off, I’ll simply cancel the card and walk away. That’s the plan, anyway…
