Understanding the Dubai property market demands good language skills

Buying property anywhere requires some serious thought and preparation, and an encounter with the Dubai property market should be well-planned and thought out. Buyers will need several languages – Dubai is an international city and business may demand it, so a good grasp of the local language is definitely an asset when purchasing bricks and mortar. It may well help cement the deal!

 

If language isn’t your forte, it might be wise to employ a translator to help with any negotiations. Property is rarely straightforward and meanings can easily be lost in translation, so having an ally who is fluent in the language of local business (and with the customs and practices of that business) would be a smart move. Money talks, but that means nothing if people can’t understand what it’s saying…
