I always trust padded mailers
Over the years, I have bought so many items on the Internet, especially fishing and golf accessories. I have never liked shopping in the high street, so any time I need something I invariably head for the worldwide web. I’m generally a satisfied customer, but if products arrive damaged, I get very cross.
If my purchases arrive in padded mailers, I automatically know they will be in perfect condition, because they always provide enough protection to ensure the package can withstand the punishment of being sent through the post. A company that uses them will invariably get repeat business from me.

Shoe storage is the key to co-habiting happiness
It doesn’t matter what your domestic setup is – shoe storage is the thing I recommend for happiness. You might live in a shared house, or with family, or with a partner, but at some point – without fail – the question of tripping over shoes, boots, muddy running trainers or lethal heels discarded at the end of a night out will arise and lead to problems.
Shoe storage is the answer, and that’s why I like it. It could be a simple rack at the foot of the bed, or a cunningly constructed custom built unit hand-finished by hippies in a yurt, but either way the shoes are properly homed. And no-one need ever wonder exactly how many pairs of identical black pumps their partner needs, ever again…
