Use a postal box every time
I run a little business from home, supplying small items of jewellery to purchasers through the post. It’s more of a sideline, really, but my commitment to my customers is total, just as it would be if I was running a multi-million pound corporation. That’s just the way I am; I can’t do anything by half measures.
I always use a good quality postal box because I want my items to arrive at the buyer’s front door in tip-top condition. Everything must be carefully packaged and simply has to meet the standards I would expect if I was the buyer.

Anti Souris Gets Lost in Translation
It’s amazing the things you pick up when you start helping out with the local twinning association! Anti Souris is a classic example.
Because I have schoolgirl French which is marginally better than the others’ language skills, I seem to have been roped in as official translator and interpreter! To be honest I think I may be a bit out of my depth.
The Anti Souris incident happened when we had an email from Clermont Ferrand’s twinning committee which expounded about this at length. I got it into my head that it was something to do with being anti-smiling, as it’s similar to the word for smiling in French. I couldn’t have been more wrong. It actually means mouse control of all things!
Our French colleagues were just telling us that they’ve had some problems with mice in their community centre where some of the events will take place, but it’s all sorted now. Phew!

Use postal bags for a perfect delivery
If you regularly send goods through the mail, you’ll want to ensure your items are correctly packaged for the journey. And if you’re running a business, you need to be aware that unsecured items can be damaged or lost, resulting in disgruntled customers and a worrying reduction in revenue and consumer satisfaction.
For smaller items, postal bags are the solution. They’re exceptionally strong and durable, and will help to keep the contents safe from your hands to the front door of the recipient. Invest in some today and you’ll be able to enjoy some peace of mind.

Festival season means the gazebo business gets a boost
The link between summer festivals and the gazebo business may not be immediately obvious, but there is a strong connection once the summer months arrive. Festival season means hundreds of thousands of people will decamp to fields throughout the country, taking their tents and cider with them.
However, in recent years a new trend has developed. With festivals getting bigger and bigger, more people like to recover from a day amongst the crowds by relaxing by their tent, and they take a gazebo for that very purpose. They’re light, easy to put up, and provide shelter from the elements – allowing everyone to relax, whatever the weather. So when tent sales peak in readiness for festivals, the gazebo manufacturers should expect a jump in sales too.
Compare credit cards online for great savings
Price comparison sites have grown in popularity in recent years. You can even compare credit cards online using such sites, so you can quickly and easily see at a glance where the best deals are to be found. The rates charged by various credit cards vary enormously, and you can easily find yourself paying more than you have to if you don’t shop around.
Be sure that you know exactly what type of card you want before you start searching, though – you might want 0% interest for a period, or a card that gives you cashback whenever you purchase something with it. Be aware what the choices are before you start looking.
