I hate wasps!

I don’t think anybody really likes wasps. Like most people, I think, I don’t really mind bees as long as they stay away from me, but wasps I genuinely cannot stand. As Eddie Izzard once said – at least bees make honey. What do wasps do? Nothing. It’s not like they make chutney or anything.

So you can imagine how disappointed I was to find that there seems to a wasps’ bike in our roof. Or if there’s not, it’s certainly their favourite place to hang out at the moment for some reason. There’s always a ton of them buzzing about up there, which makes getting in and out of the house a bit of a trial. I think I call to the exterminator may soon be on the cards…

Fun bingo games online

I don’t just use my computer for work – I also use it in my leisure time too to surf the web and generally just while away the hours for my own amusement.

One of the best sites I’ve come across on my virtual wanderings is this fun bingo site. Not only can you play bingo online, but you can also chat to other players while the numbers are being drawn. All the players I’ve met so far have been really nice – quick to congratulate you on a win and friendly and chatty throughout each game. I’d thoroughly recommend it to anyone who likes a bit of a flutter.

Scottish knitwear – the perfect present

It’s my sister’s birthday in a few days time, and I’ve finally managed to locate a suitable present for her. It’s her 40th birthday, so I rally wanted to get her something special.

She’s always been a big fan of Scottish knitwear, so I’m going to really splash out on her and get her a cashmere jumper. I’m not usually a big spender when it comes to presents, but she is going to be 40 so she’ll probably need some cheering up…

Scottish knit is famous throughout the world for the high quality of its craftsmanship, so I’m sure she’ll love it. The only problem now is choosing which colour to buy her…
