Orlando flights take you to where the fun is!
Most people taking Orlando flights are headed to many of the superb tourist attractions that are situated in the area.
Orlando is home to a huge range of exciting tourist destinations, including the Walt Disney World Resort – which combines the many attractions of the Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and the Epcot Centre – as well as the Universal Orlando Resort, SeaWorld and the fantastic Holy Land Experience.
Most Orlando flights land at Orlando International Airport, which is only six miles from the main central business region of the city, and is the most popular airport in Florida. With over 35.6 million passenegers passing through in 2008, the airport is the 22nd busiest airport in the world.

Online bingo for cash – play from home
I’m getting really into playing online bingo for cash at the moment. It’s cheap, and great fun to play – I’ve even had a couple of wins. Nothing huge, but enough to make it worthwhile.]
But it’s really not about the winning, it’s about the taking part. While you play there’s an online chat facility that lets you talk to other gamers as the numbers are drawn. Everyone I’ve met there has been really nice – very friendly and welcoming and quick to wish each other luck.
If you’ve got a little time to spare I’d definitely recommend giving it a go. A lot of sites give you free credit when you first join, so you lose nothing by having a shot.

Computer electricity use
Have you ever wondered how much electricity your computer uses? Not a lot of people do, but the answer is quite surprising.
Your computer’s energy use will vary depending on what you’re doing on it – editing video or listening to music uses considerably more power than just reading an email. Your computer can actually use anything from 65 to 250 watts, with the monitor using between 35 and 80 watts.
To save energy with your computer, you should always put it into standby mode when you’re not using it. In standby mode, power consumption drops to 6 watts, and the monitor uses virtually no energy at all. Interestingly, laptops only use between 15 and 45 watts in normal use.

Lockheed Martin creates flash drive computer
Lockheed Martin, the American defence contractor, has developed a kind of virtual computer that resides on a USB flash drive.
The drive contains its own operating system, software, files and settings. To access the virtual computer, the user simply inserts the USB drive into any computer with a USB port. The operating system runs directly off the flash drive, which means that the files on the drive are never stored on the “host” computer, and the virtual computer leaves no trace behind when it is unplugged.
The device, known as “Ironclad”, is housed in a tamper-proof solid metal casing that is resistant to heat, cold, sand and water, and if a drive is ever lost or stolen, it can be remotely commanded to self-destruct.

Buying camcorder accessories
I was browsing through the Internet looking at camcorder accessories. There is a wide range of accessories out there, so I was a bit spoiled for choice. I really want to get into digital movie editing, so I was mainly looking for adapters and things for connecting my camera to my computer.
You can do some pretty amazing things these days with digital camcorders and a standard home computer. It won’t quite rival Hollywood’s glitz and glamour, but, with a little time and practice, you can create mini-masterpieces complete with special visual effects that really are quite impressive given the technology involved.

HP laptop charger
My HP laptop charger broke the other day. It’s not been right for quite some time now – the power seemed to be getting through only intermittently, and so it would take forever for the laptop to reach full charge. I was just running it off the mains for ages as this was less hassle than waiting for it to charge, but then I thought – what’s the point of having a laptop if you can’t carry it around with you?
So I went hunting for a new charger online last night. Luckily, HP laptops are really popular, so there’s a lot of different suppliers to choose from. I got a real bargain in the end, and it should arrive any day now.

External CD drive – A wise purchase?
I purchased a powerful Samsung netbook last year and I’ve been very pleased with the features and technology it packs into such a small machine.
It has left me questioning why people spend so much on a laptop with more features – after all surely the point in buying something portable is that you carry it around with you.
Try doing that with some of the oversized, jack-of-all-trade machines you find nowadays and you’ll do your back in.
However, one thing that the netbook does without is a DVD/CD drive. I’m currently looking to buy one in the sales and almost made the purchase yesterday but was left wondering if I really need such a thing.
All my music is downloaded these days and most software arrives in the same way, so will I get the use out of it?

How to find jobs in IT?
New Year, new job is the popular saying, and one that I’m following as we welcome in 2010.
I’m in need of something new, a role with more responsibility and with it a better wage.
I’ve thought and evaluated a number of different career opportunities over the past few years but currently something in the information technology sector appeals.
Jobs in IT appear plentiful and, if anything, the market appears likely to grow in the coming years.
The wages on offer look attractive too and the companies hiring offer good incentives – such as a company car and a good pension scheme – to attract good workers.
Now, all I need to do is prepare my CV and locate the perfect job using one of the many job search websites available.
